​Dr Tanwar is the 'Gastroenterology MAC & Endoscopy Clinical Lead (Chair of the Endoscopy User Group)' at The Holly Hospital where he heads the gastroenterology service and endoscopy unit. He is also the Endoscopy Clinical Lead at Barts Health NHS Trust, Whipps Cross University Hospital.

 

He is an experienced consultant with excellent patient feedback providing specialist high level medical and endoscopic care:

• Diagnostic and Therapeutic Endoscopy (Gastroscopy & Colonoscopy)

• Gastroenterologic and Hepatologic conditions including Reflux, Abdominal Pain, Change of Bowel Habit, GI Bleeding, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Crohn's, Ulcerative Colitis, Jaundice, Abnormal liver function tests, Chronic Liver Disease, Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease, Hepatitis and cirrhosis

• Performing complex endoscopic procedures including advanced ERCP, polypectomy, stenting and suturing.

In addition to his NHS practice, Dr Tanwar treats both self-funding and insured patients in the private sector at The Holly and Spire London East.​
