In addition to his NHS practice, Dr Tanwar treats both self-funding and insured patients in the private sector at The Holly and Spire London East.

Dr Tanwar is the 'Chair of the Endoscopy User Group, Endoscopy Clinical Lead & Gastroenterology MAC Lead ' at The Holly Hospital where he heads the endoscopy unit and gastroenterology service.
